Dr. Charla Burchett
DNP, APRN - Co-Owner & Provider
Dr. Charla Burchett, DNP, APRN, is co-owner and provider at Carter Healthcare. A lifelong resident of Olive Hill, Kentucky, she is passionate about helping patients find healing through compassionate, patient-centered care and innovative wellness therapies. Dr. Burchett earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Morehead State University in 2011, her Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2016, and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Eastern Kentucky University in 2024. Prior to co-founding Carter Healthcare, she served as a nursing instructor in the MSN program at Morehead State University. Dr. Burchett has a special interest in regenerative and wellness-based therapies, including SoftWave Therapy, red light therapy, and cellular wellness approaches.
Kristin Yarman
MSN, APRN - Co-Owner & Provider
Kristin Yarman, MSN, APRN, is co-owner and provider at Carter Healthcare. She is dedicated to providing accessible, compassionate healthcare while helping patients improve overall wellness through evidence-based and non-invasive therapies. Kristin graduated from Morehead State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2015. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including the Medicine ICU at University of Kentucky, family medicine, and urgent care. Her passion for community healthcare and wellness inspired her to co-found Carter Healthcare, where she focuses on patient-centered care, walk-in services, wellness therapies, and creating innovative healthcare options for the local community.
Hallie Sparks
MSOT, OTR/L - Occupational Therapist
Hallie Sparks, MSOT, OTR/L, is the Occupational Therapist at Carter Healthcare. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages improve independence, mobility, sensory regulation, and quality of life through personalized occupational therapy services. Hallie graduated from Shawnee State University in 2022 with her Bachelor of Health Science degree and in 2024 with her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She works with both pediatric and adult patients and is known for her compassionate approach, creativity, and dedication to helping patients reach their goals in a supportive environment. Hallie also has a strong interest in integrative wellness therapies and enjoys incorporating innovative treatment approaches to support overall healing and function.
Jozi Greenhill
Nutrition Educator
Jozi Greenhill is the Nutrition Educator at Carter Healthcare. She is passionate about helping patients build healthier lifestyles through nutrition education, wellness coaching, and sustainable habit changes. Jozi earned her Master's degree in Dietetics from Marshall University in 2025. She enjoys educating patients on the connection between nutrition, inflammation, metabolism, and overall wellness while helping them develop realistic, individualized health goals. At Carter Healthcare, Jozi works closely with patients participating in wellness and weight management programs and enjoys combining nutrition education with supportive wellness therapies to help patients feel their best.
